2017 Show
Pocono Ponies Live 2017 was a very successful show year! We had a total of 31 entrants and still had a long waiting list! We were able to make a donation of $900 for Our Mims Retirement Haven in Paris, Kentucky, an organization that rescues and rehabilitates retired thoroughbred racehorses and broodmares.
The 2017 Pocono Ponies show hosted several varied divisions, including OF Halter, AR Halter, CM Halter, Performance, OF Breyer Mini, OF Stone Mini, AR Mini, and CM Mini. As the show was winding down, we drew for the winner of the Breyer Benefit Model, Reno. When entrants arrived, they were able to choose one card at random, and told to hang onto it for later. Little did they know that card was their chance to win Reno! One of our judges, Morgan McGee-Solomon, was thrilled when her card was drawn, and she walked away with her gorgeous new overo Buckshot! Congratulations Morgan! In addition, our lucky winner of the glossy Harper this year was Ashley Marconi!
Speaking of the raffle, we had two tables packed full of great items donated by show attendees and supporters. Included was a custom Wintersong by Kentucky Equine Creations, a Landslide resin donated by Seunta, a Day Dreamer resin donated by Jen Olp, two Stablemate customs donated by Wild Horse Studios, custom pony pouches, plenty of OF models, and so much more! Huge thanks to all our awesome donors this year and congratulations to the luck winners!
Jenn Danza was also able to attend our show again this year, offering repairs to all models needing some TLC. Huge thanks to everyone who supported the show by attending, donating, buying raffle tickets, and judging! We hope to see you again next year! We all would like to give our appreciation to Breyer for including Pocono Ponies Live in the Breyer Benefit Program in 2017!
